The Mardi Himal Trek is an enchanting journey through the most visited area of Annapurna. It offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks, the opportunity to experience the rich local culture, and the adventure of reaching Machhapuchhare Base Camp. The diverse trail winds through lush valleys, snow-capped hills, lichen-covered forests, and numerous rivers and waterfalls, all with mesmerizing mountain vistas reflecting in the surrounding landscape.

Considered one of the easier trekking routes in the Annapurna region compared to the Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp Trek, the Mardi Himal Trek begins in the charming city of Pokhara. Visitors can enjoy activities like boating on Phewa Lake while taking in the breathtaking scenery. During the trek, you'll pass through forests of pine, juniper, and rhododendron, along with breathtaking views of Mt. Annapurna, Himchuli, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu, and Machhapuchhre.

The natural beauty and the chance to walk through traditional Gurung villages immersed in Buddhist culture are key attractions of this journey. The warm hospitality of locals in towns like Kande, Pothana, Siding, and Deurali is remarkable. The trek takes you to altitudes of 4,500 meters, showcasing spectacular landscapes, with Mardi Himal Base Camp, Low Camp, and Forest Camp being some of the highlights. Many locals describe this trek as a popular eco-tourism-based classic short trek in Nepal.

Above the forest, the high snow-capped pastures provide excellent grazing and undisturbed habitats for wildlife. This area is known for its pristine mountain scenery, offering an escape from the more heavily trafficked tea-house trails and into unspoiled forests and villages that have yet to feel the impact of mass tourism.

Join the magnificent Mardi Himal Trek with our reliable and highly trained team at Mountain Miracle Treks & Expedition to witness the breathtaking beauty of this untouched region of Nepal. For more details about this trek, please check the Mardi Himal Trek Itinerary below.

    Forever grateful

    Rating:

I had the opportunity to do the Mardi Himal Trek with Shankar. The trip was suggested and planned by him and Bishnu, who carefully listened to my needs in an attempt to satisfy all my expectations for this trip. Despite I was in Nepal in the low season, I still managed to have a fantastic experience and see some of the highest peaks in the world, including the Fishtail. I highly suggest taking part in the adventures of Mountain Miracle, since the whole staff will be ready and available to listen to you; you can be sure that Bishnu will always be there to support you and explain some interesting and unique elements of Nepali culture. I really feel I learned a lot thanks to his guidance. I also had the chance to meet his lovely family and to spend some quality time with them. You can also be reassured that you will always find Bishnu in his office ready to welcome you with a delicious cup of tea or to share some good momos. I am forever grateful for this wonderful experience and for all the time dedicated to me. Moreover, Bishnu will always have fantastic ideas for alternative experiences beyond mountain sightseeing: I wanted to do Bungee Jumping and he immediately helped me organize this other fantastic experience. If you want to live a 360-degree experience in Nepal, go with Mountains Miracle, and you will get it! What distinguishes this fantastic team is the great amount of experiences and activities they offer and the fact that there will always be someone ready to follow you from day 1 until the last one, even when situations get complicated (in my case, certain days weather was bad, and Bishnu was always there in contact with me to assure that I was fine and still enjoying). Sightseeing the Himalayas was one of my dreams and it was made possible by Nabin and the fantastic team of Mountain Miracle.
