Morning: Sunrise at Sarangkot start your day early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the Annapurna range from Sarangkot. It's about a 30-minute drive from Pokhara, on the way to Sarangkot you can observe a great view and Nepali small houses driving through the Rhododendron forest.

Breakfast: Head back to Pokhara for a hearty breakfast at one of the local cafes or at the Hotel where you were staying. Otherwise, the Lakeside area offers many options with beautiful lake views for your morning Breakfast.

Visit Tal Barahi Temple: Located on an island in the middle of Phewa Lake, Tal Barahi Temple is a beautiful Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Barahi. About Phewa Lake: known as Fewa Lake, is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Pokhara, Nepal. It is the second-largest lake in Nepal and is situated at an elevation of about 742 meters (2,434 feet) above sea level. The lake covers an area of approximately 5.23 square kilometers (2.02 square miles) and has a maximum depth of around 24 meters (79 feet).

The lake is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, with the snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges serving as a breathtaking backdrop. Visitors to Phewa Lake can enjoy various activities such as boating, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. There are numerous boat rental services along the lakeshore, allowing tourists to explore the tranquil waters and take in the surrounding scenery.

Tal Barahi Temple, a small two-story pagoda located on an island in the middle of Phewa Lake, adds to the cultural significance of the area. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Barahi and is a popular pilgrimage site for devotees, as well as a picturesque spot for tourists.

Additionally, the lakeside area is lined with restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it a vibrant hub for both locals and tourists. Lunch: Lunch Break: Return to Lakeside for lunch. You can choose from a variety of restaurants offering local Nepali cuisine, as well as international options.

Afternoon: Exploring Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave: After lunch, head to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, famous for its stalactites and stalagmites. Inside the cave, you'll also find a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Davis Falls: Visit Davis Falls, also known as Patale Chhango, where the Pardi Khola stream vanishes underground. It's a unique natural phenomenon and offers some stunning photo opportunities.

Tibetan Refugee Camp:  Pokhara is home to thousands of Tibetan refugees, the majority of whom live within the four refugee settlement camps namely Tashi Palkel, Tashi Ling, Paljorling, and Jampaling. These camps, some in existence since the mid-1960s, were originally meant to provide temporary shelter to Tibetan refugees, but have turned into permanent settlements.

Tashi Ling Refugee Camp is charming and gives a full portrait of the lives of Tibetan refugees. Since it is located near Pokhara’s popular tourist spot: Davis Falls, it is also more accessible. Around 100 Tibetan families live inside this settlement which has a Buddhist monastery, a school, and a carpet factory. Most families are engaged in small businesses.

Late Afternoon: World Peace Pagoda: Drive or hike to the World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa), located on a hilltop overlooking Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and soak in the peaceful ambiance.

Evening: Shopping and Leisure Time: Spend your evening exploring Lakeside's vibrant streets filled with shops selling souvenirs, handicrafts, clothing, and more. You can also relax at one of the lakeside cafes, enjoying the view with a cup of tea or coffee.
