Mesokanto Pass Trek via Tilicho lake Is one of the popular and exotic treks of the Annapurna region?  Mesokanto Pass Trek (5099 m.) is a charismatic trekking adventure to this high Altitude Lake situated in the Manang District of Nepal. Manang is famous for its mountain scenery, Milarepa Cave, hospitable people, monastery, and Ice Lake in the east of Manang.

Tilicho Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world. It is 4,949 m high in the Annapurna range of the Himalayas. It is one of the none tourist Trekking areas of Nepal, which is normal to hard trekking with different passes. This Trekking offers you stunning views of mountain local lifestyle, and culture as well as other best trekking paths on the Journey.

Tilicho Lake Mesokanto pass is a mixture of both cultural and natural treasures. The upper trails show the difficulty of people in the Manang district known for the desert of NEPAL. This trekking route gives you the opportunity to visit Khanshar, which is also said to be the lost village of Nepal and the culture and religion of the Tibetans, and their oldest monasteries. After savoring the clear blue lake at a high altitude in the middle of the powerful Himalayas, we have the option of passing the Thorung La and down to Muktinath or crossing a challenging Mesokanto Pass to Jomsom. Crossing the Mesokanto Pass is a challenging adventure and requires adequate equipment, including the tent camp, ropes, and a well-experienced Guide.

After crossing the Mesokant0 pass, the trails descend to the deepest gorge in the world between Annapurna I (8091m) and Dhaulagiri (8156m). Similarly, the dramatic view of Tilicho Peak, Nilgiri, Machhapuchhre, and Manaslu can also be seen along the trekking route. The Moesokanta pass and the Tilicho lake base camp are more picturesque and the whole mountain range will appear in front of you. Of course, the Tilicho Lake with the trekking in the Mesokanto pass is exhausting, but the climbing experience is not required. You can also view famous pilgrims of Muktinath and other untouched sacred places in those areas. You can also taste Thakali food (famous food of that place) and enjoy the Thakali and Gurung Culture of that place.

This Trek starts from Kathmandu to Lamjung District at Syange Village crossing the Marshyangdi River and taking a glimpse of Himal-Chuli and other Himalayan Range. It passes from Besi Sahar to Annapurna Circuit Trekking Trails towards Manang and over to Tilicho Lake. You can also take 35 minutes Flights to Jomsom as an alternative if you feel too lazy.

The best time to visit Tilicho Lake Mesokanto Pass Trek is in autumn (September to November) and in spring (March to May). This trek is a suitable and peaceful trekking trail for those who have been looking for adventurous and exciting trekking. These hikers must be in good health and do not require previous experience in trekking.

Day 01:Arrival at the (TIA) in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel (1,365m/4478.346ft) 20 min Drive to Hotel

As we received your given flight schedule, our airport representative will be waiting in time at the (TIA) Tribhuvan international airport of Kathmandu for your arrival. And will drop you off at your Hotel in a private Vehicle and overnight in Kathmandu.
